This site publishes information about Balta Brunch — menu, opening hours, location — and lets you send us, through the forms available, contact requests, job applications and quote requests for our delivery services. By using these forms, you accept these Terms & Conditions.

Filling in the quote request form (available on the Services page) does not book a table, confirm an order, or create any contractual obligation between the parties. It is exactly what it says: a request for a proposal. A binding commitment — meaning a mutual agreement on dates, frequency, pricing or conditions — only exists once both parties confirm it in writing, typically by email, following our reply to your request. Until that confirmation, any availability we mention is indicative and may no longer hold by the time we reply.

This site has no shopping cart and takes no payments. Requests sent through the forms are contact, application or quote requests — they are not orders or bookings. THE ONE EXCEPTION is the gift card: the “Gift Card” button takes you to another company's shop (Gift Up!), where the purchase and payment happen outside this site and under that shop's terms. The card you buy is then accepted by us, on the terms shown on the card itself.

The text, photographs, logo and other content on this site belong to Baltasar Sampaio — Unipessoal, Lda. or are used with proper authorisation. They may not be copied, reproduced or reused without our prior written consent, except where the law allows it.

We make a reasonable effort to keep the information on this site — including opening hours, menu and availability — accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee it is always free of errors or that the site will run without interruption. We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, without prejudice to any rights that Portuguese law does not allow to be limited or excluded, namely consumer rights.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute relating to this site falls under the jurisdiction of the Porto district court (comarca do Porto), without prejudice to consumer protection rules that assign jurisdiction elsewhere.
